September 2011 Press Release
TBS Enterprise Mobility and Professional Computing Solutions boost efficiencies with mobilised dynamic scheduling

ICT specialists combine on workforce management solution

Derby September 6th 2011 A new partnership between mobile computing software specialist TBS Enterprise Mobility (TBS), and dynamic scheduling solutions provider, Professional Computing Solutions (PCS), is set to deliver exceptional benefits for under pressure fieldworkers with demanding scheduling requirements.

An unpredictable business climate will mean constant scrutiny of workforce capacity.  Mobile solutions are proven to help drive fieldworker efficiency, and the addition of scheduling gives a vital new dimension.

Fieldworkers can be made 15-35 per cent more efficient with a scheduling solution, automating decisions which have traditionally been made manually, slowly and less efficiently.  Now the real-time information provided from a mobile solution can inform scheduling technology, making instant decisions that account for multiple variables, such as a fieldworker’s availability, resources and location.

Benefiting from this will be the numerous processes already integrated within TaskMaster: from timesheets and stamps capturing signatures, times, dates and GPS locations; to detailed inspection and service procedures; as well as asset tracking and workforce activity monitoring.

The PCS Scheduling solution creates business value through optimum levels of productivity, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The PCS concept of ‘continuous planning and scheduling’ incorporates demand forecasting, capacity planning and shift planning.

Steve Reynolds, Managing Director of TBS Enterprise Mobility, commented: “It’s extremely important for organisations to address areas where efficiency is questionable.  Bringing together TaskMaster and PCS dynamic scheduling means organisations can be better connected at each step of the chain, improving precision and accuracy.”

Calvin Martin, Commercial Director of Professional Computing Solutions, commented: “By uniting the TBS TaskMaster and PCS Scheduling solutions we will deliver the most technically advanced and operationally effective solutions available.”
